BSEEN International (BSEEN) is greatly privileged in having several prominent businessmen who have generously agreed to act as advisors to the Board. They will actively participate in BSEEN activities as the occasion arises, and in particular will offer their advice on overall strategy, provide assistance in market entry and assist in identifying viable products and services. Y.T. Kim
Y.T. Kim
Y T Kim is co-founder and Honorary Chairman of Free-ceos.com Inc., a consulting company via internet. Mr. Kim has been decorated by the President of Korea with the National Order of the Camellia for his contribution to Information Technology and Development of the Industry. Mr. Kim was instrumental in the development of various business sectors within Lucky GoldStar Corporation, LG, in over 40 years of invaluable service to the corporation - for 13 years of which he was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LG-EDS Systems. Inc. In a glittering career, during which South Korea has become a formidable industrial power to be reckoned with throughout the world, Mr. Kim has served as a Board Member and chaired a variety of key technology and industry associations such as the Korean Software Industries Association, the Korea Institute of Multimedia Contents & Software and the Software Industries Promotion Committee of Ministry of Information and Telecommunication, Korea. He holds a Bachelor degree in English Literature from Seoul National University, Korea.
 
Taik-Ho Kim
Taik-Ho Kim Taik-Ho Kim is Chairman and CEO of Free-ceos and served for over 37 years with 7 different Hyundai Group Cos in South Korea namely Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co. for 5 years as an Electrical engineer and later as a Project Manager at Guam Island, Hyundai Heavy Ind Co. for 14 years as a VP of ship sales and office manager, Hyundai Electronic Co. (now Hynix) for 4 years as a VP of Semiconductor sales, Hyundai Robot Ind Co for 3 years as a CEO, and Hyundai Information Technology Co for 7 years as a CEO to manage Hyundai Group Co's system management and system integration business. Mr. Kim also served as Chairman of the Korea Software Industry Association and the Korea Software Support Centre from 1996 to 1998. In addition he was an Advisor to several government organizations including the Council of National Telecommunication Policy and the Subcommittee of National Information Security to assist policy-making in the area of Information Technology.
 
Mohammad Elshanti
Mohammad Elshanti Mohammad Elshanti is Managing Director of AJ Management Consulting (an Adobe Systems Enterprise Level Partner-EMEA), MD of AJ PDSI Capital, CEO of the premium startup airline ArabJet and Director of the Arab Aerospace Fund. His areas of expertise, include technology, strategic investment management, strategic planning and implementation, business process re-engineering, and financial restructuring for various industries including service industries, real estate, finance, manufacturing, travel and tourism, aviation and aerospace.
Previously, Mohammad has worked since 93 as senior consultant, managing consultant, director and principal for big 5 and blue chip firms including Accenture, KPMG Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Swiss Air, IBM Global Services, and Hewlett Packard in various executive roles throughout the Middle East and Europe.
During his career, he has lead various high profile and complex assignments and has sold and managed some of the industry's largest multi-million dollar technology projects. Mohammad has a BSc (Engineering, 92), and an MBA (Distinction, 93) from Canterbury Business School, University of Kent.
He is also a keynote speaker and contributor to number of regional and international industry related conferences, forums and publications.
 
Arkady Zaslavsky
Arkady Zaslavsky Arkady Zaslavsky is an Associate Professor at Monash University, Australia and is also an Adjunct-Professor at the Lulea University of Technology, Sweden. He has published more than 200 publications throughout his professional career and has organised and chaired many workshops and conferences in the mobile computing area. His research interests include mobile and pervasive computing; distributed and mobile agents and objects; wireless networks; distributed computing and database systems; distributed object technology and mobile commerce. Arkady has been awarded and been involved in many research grants and projects including DSTC's "M3: Enterprise Architecture for Mobile Computation", "Context-rich mobile agent technology to support information needs of financial institutions", "Adaptive Distributed Information Services", "Mobile City" and others. He is a member of ACS, ACM and IEEE Computer Society. He received an MSc in Applied Mathematics majoring in Computer Science from Tbilisi State University (Georgia USSR) in 1976 and a PhD in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute for Control Sciences (IPU-IAT), USSR Academy of Sciences in 1987.
 
Jason Li
Jason Li
Jason Li has been President of MDC Telecom since May 2003. MDC Telecom is a service provider of innovative communications services based in the PRC. Prior to joining MDC Telecom, Mr Li was Executive Director, COO and President of China for IIN International Limited. Before that, Mr Li assumed various positions in the PRC telecommunications industry, most notably, Bureau Chief and Deputy Chief Engineer of China Telecom (Changsha Branch), Head of Technology Centre of Hunan Provincial Post and Telecoms, etc. Mr Li is also senior member of China Institute of Communications, executive member of the Hunan Institute of Electromagnetics, and part-time professor of Institute of Electronics Technology, National University of Defence Technology. Mr Li has also been awarded expert status under the government subsidy scheme by the State Council of the PRC. Mr Li graduated from Zhejiang University and obtained his MBA from Institute of International Business, Hunan University.
 
Bill Chang
Bill Chang
Bill Chang is currently Chief Executive Officer of JobsDB Holdings Limited, a leading e-recruitment firm in the Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Chang has over 28 years of experience in IT industry. Prior to joining JobsDB, Mr. Chang was Group President and Chief Executive Officer of IIN International Limited (HKGEM: 8128). He played a key role in growing the company to become a leading network solution provider in the PRC and successfully brought the company to be listed on the HKGEM board in November 2001. During his six and a half years with IIN international, Mr. Chang drove and completed three corporate acquisitions to further expand the company business in the network solution industry. Prior to joining IIN International, Mr. Chang was President and Chief Operating Officer to Tricom Holdings Limited (formerly HKEx: 1186). In that capacity, he was responsible for, among others, the overall strategic planning of the company and driving the company's business expansion into the PRC market. Before that, he was Vice President and General Manager of Mitel (Far East) Limited for more than 18 years, holding key positions in the company's headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, responsible for the company's product development and technology deployment. Mr. Chang obtained his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Carleton University in Canada and is a member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, Canada.
 
David Hayden
David Hayden
David Hayden is Founder and CEO of Jeteye Technologies, Inc., a next generation search and social media platform dedicated to improving the quality of the web by integrating user-generated content with on-line information.

A recognized visionary, Mr. Hayden served as Chairman and CEO of The McKinley Group, a company he co-founded in 1993 and which created Magellan, one of the first and most popular search engines that was sold to Excite in 1996. In 1997 he founded Critical Path, Inc., which became a publicly held company providing integrated messaging solutions and communication technology globally. In 1999, David Hayden founded Archipelago LLC, a global holding company providing vision, funding and strategic direction to early-stage technology companies within its network of governments, banks and businesses worldwide.
In July 1999, Mr. Hayden has been recognized by Forbes as a member of the "E-Gang". He was a finalist for the Northern California's 1999 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of the Year and in June of 1998 he was named one of Sm@rt Reseller magazine's "Sm@rt 50" influential decision-makers in the Internet. Mr. Hayden holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
 
Brendan McKittrick
Brendan McKittrick
Brendan McKittrick currently works internationally as a Business and IT consultant, with particular expertise in the use of leading technologies in government security.

He is the Founder and former CEO of Columba Global Systems Ltd, an Irish technology company. At Columba he developed an exciting new technology, called Exprimer, that enables 'anytime-anywhere' access to corporate, government and airline databases, and numbers four governments on three continents among its clientele. He was also the founder of European Library Solutions Ltd, a specialist company in the field of bibliographic software, at which he participated in the development of search engine technology.
He is a highly skilled Project Manager with an impeccable record of continuous high achievement over a 17 year career in the International Information Technology sector.
Brendan has gained a broad experience gleaned from working in over 20 countries in four continents, in the diverse business sectors of National Security, Airline Systems, e-Government, Bibliographic Systems and Healthcare.
Brendan has been closely affiliated with BSEEN International since its inception in 2003. Brendan is a graduate of Dublin City University where he received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering. He was winner of the Amdahl and Bristol Myers university scholarships.
Brendan lives with his Basque wife and three children in Ireland.
 
Michael John Warren
Michael John Warren
Michael John Warren has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, Asia for LogicaCMG, focused primarily in the Telecommunications, Financial Services, Logistics, Aviation and Outsourcing sectors. He is based in LogicaCMG's Asia head quarters office in Malaysia.
Michael has over 20 years of ICT experience in Asia Pacific. Previous to his current appointment he was a senior executive of the Sampoerna group of Indonesia - he served as the International Head of business development and strategy for Integrated Business Solutions Asia (IBSA), a regional IT & Management Consulting company. Prior to Sampoerna, he worked with the Keppel group of Singapore where he held several concurrent operational roles including CEO of DataOne Asia, as well as the Vice President, South Asia, for Keppel Communications. In the past, he worked in senior management positions with companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation, Crosscomm Corporation, 3Com Corporation, Wang Global, and Getronics.

In addition to his business activities, Michael has served as the Group IT Advisor to the Hong Leong Group, Malaysia; as an IT Advisor to the Sabah (Malaysia) state government; as an IT Advisor to the International Hotel & Restaurant Association; and as an IT Advisor on the Asia Pacific Development Infrastructure Program (APDIP) of the United Nations.

Michael Warren graduated as the top student in 1984 with a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. He was a Digital Equipment scholar, and also in 1984 won the New Zealand Computer Science Award for outstanding academic performance.
 
Etienne Blondiaux
Etienne Blondiaux
Etienne Blondiaux has had over 20 years of experience in consumer related companies in international environments including strategic and operational roles for multinational groups based in Asia and in Europe. He managed Firmenich in Hong Kong and China and served as the President of Givaudan Korea.

Currently he works as a high level consultant, advising various companies on their international development and diversification. Etienne holds an Engineering degree from Centrale Lille (France) and an MBA from INSEAD business school.
 
Steve Chiang
Steve C. L. Chiang
Steve C. L. Chiang has had over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the IT industry across the Asia Pacific region and more than 16 years of business management experience with different country teams. He has had over 4 years experience in the storage market.
Mr. Chiang has worked in a variety of management roles including direct sales, channel development, software and solution development, service business development and general management. He has an in-depth knowledge of the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan marketplaces and has extensive business connections and relationships together with a proven track record for new business development, penetrating new market segments, and organization build-up. Mr. Chiang is currently Executive Vice President of New Century Infocomm Tech. Co., Ltd. (Sparq). Before the current position, he was General Manager of EMC Taiwan and has been Chairman of the Taiwan Electronic Commerce Business Association since 1997. He was General Manager of Comax Information Inc. from 1996-1999 and previously held various management positions in IBM from 1982 to 1996, including Marketing Director for Asia Pacific, Industry General Manager for IBM Greater China Group and National Marketing and Sales Manager for IBM Taiwan.
 
Dan Deville
Dan Deville
Dan Deville is Europe Service Line Deputy General Manager, Xerox Global Services Europe, after having been Senior Vice President of Valtech, a well-known French technology company.

Following fifteen years of International Sales Management in prestigious International companies such as Creusot Loire and Thomson, Dan Deville worked with several famous IT Companies at executive and senior levels. He was International Director of Cap Gemini at a corporate level, and General Manager in EDS France.

Following that he joined the Bull Group where he was in charge of the worldwide SAP activities, before becoming Senior Vice President in Charge of International Affairs and International Accounts. He then joined Wipro Technologies, one of the first Indian IT Companies, as General Manager of the French operations. Dan Deville is a graduate of the Political Sciences Institute in Paris and has Masters in International Law from the University of Paris Sorbonne.

Jyoji Usami
Jyoji Usami is the Founder and President of Videomail Japan, Inc., headquartered in Tokyo. Since 1991, Videomail has provided Strategic Consulting Services for networks and telecommunications, Merger Acquisition and Alliance Distribution services and has had involvement in Messaging Software, UCS and Image Processing. Major customers have included Matsushita, Hitachi, Sony, Toshiba, NEC, Seiko, Epson, NTT, NTT Data, NRI, Nikkei News, HP Japan and Mitsumi Electric.

Mr. Usami has had a long and distinguished career including ten years in the Computer and Network business at Olivetti and at Texas Instruments in Japan and ten years in the Semiconductor business at Texas Instruments. He was General Manager for Telecom VLSI, Marketing Manager for Digital Signal Processors and Graphics Processors and was worldwide Modem Strategy Manager. He has promoted U.S. Advanced Video and Network products in Japan and has provided Consulting Services for Strategic Business Alliances for major Telecom Companies, System Integrators, and Console and LSI Companies in Japan, the U.S. and Europe. He has also made a number of significant presentations and speeches such as "Trends of Video Technology" at Multimedia Conferences, and "U.S. vs. Japanese Business" at the Telecommunication Law Conference, The University of Texas School of Law.

Hideo Nagashima has 18 years experience in the information technology industry and is Co-founder of President and CEO of Custom Technology in Japan. Custom Technology has been developing and marketing MPEG2 Software Encoder and data communication products including for e-mail, EDI, directory, security, e-commerce and others.

Prior to founding Custom Technology, Mr. Nagashima worked for Arthur D. Little, American Consulting Company, as a marketing and management consultant for Japanese and foreign clients.

Mr. Nagashima holds MBA from University of Oregon, and BA in Economics from Meiji University.
 
Malcolm Richards
Malcolm Richards
Malcolm Richards is currently CEO and Managing Director of Acorn Communications, Singapore, an entrepreneurial start up company providing Mobile Wireless Broadband Access solutions to ISPs and Mobile Operators in the ASIAN region.
Previously he was Executive Vice President, Global Operations, of Keppel Communications also of Singapore where he was responsible for new business development activities and integration, consolidation and delivery of all wireless and fixed telecommunications projects in Asia and Europe with consolidated revenues of US $100 million and an operations headcount of over 350 employees.

Malcolm has had more than 20 years of international experience in all phases of marketing, project and business management, with particular strengths in business strategy, corporate turnaround and project lifecycle management.

Amongst other well known companies he has worked for in senior management positions are Nortel Networks and JS Telecom/Bosch.
Malcolm holds a BSc. degree from Bristol University.

Soebiakto Leksokumoro is currently Chairman of PT. Gemawidia Solusi Komputer (GSK), one of the leading companies engaged in a Mission Critical Hardware Platform and Solutions for Banking, Financial and other institutions, having previously been Managing Director responsible for the development of IT for the Banking and Telecommunications Industries.

Prior to that, Mr. Leksokumoro was General Manager and then Managing Director of PT ABR in which positions he was involved in engineering consulting, computer application and IT business development. Previously, Mr. Leksokumoro was closely involved in the IT aspects of Oil Reservoirs, working first for the Bandung Institut of Technology and then for Geoservices Ltd.

Amongst the important projects in which Mr. Leksokumoro has been concerned are the development of Hospital Information systems, Toll Highway collection, sensor and control systems and the building of a refinery equipment data bank system for seven refineries.

He was also involved with the establishment of Indonesia's first Electronic Commerce service provider. Mr. Leksokumoro is a graduate in Petroleum Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Prasetiya Mulya Institute of Management.

Dongho Song Founder and CEO, created Z!Stream and founded SOFTonNET Inc., in 1999. He established two international SOFTonNET offices at San Jose and Japan (joint venture with Fuji Electronics).

His leadership and visionary background in the multimedia data processing and distributed operating systems industries allowed him to successfully launch three startup companies.

Dr. Song earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K. in 1990. His experience includes development, cutting edge computing application and information technologies with Stanford Research Institute (SRI).
