The Petroleum Institute ("PI"), based in Abu Dhabi has just started using Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro to extend the physical boundaries of its Abu Dhabi campus, to enable students to attend online lessons both on- and off-campus, as well as to review recorded sessions. The PI is benefiting by Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter, Connect Pro and Connect Events in the authoring, preparation, scheduling and delivery of its professional degree courses. Prof. Nandakumar of the PI said, "The Adobe Connect technology also presented easy and simple integration with other existing PI core systems including Active Directory and Blackboard LMS and will allow us to expand our student base whilst ensuring that PI faculty are able to actively engage the students form near and far and provide a rich learning experience, thus strengthen our graduate program".

The Petroleum Institute, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was created in 2001 with the goal of establishing itself as a world-class institution in engineering education and research in areas of significance to the oil and gas and the broader energy industries.
