BSEEN held a successful business focused conference in Doha Qatar showcasing the challenges facing businesses leaders today and in particular what motivates improvements in productivity, security of a company’s valuable assets – their data and what contributes to the profitability of organisations and quality of services from Governments.

The conference was held at the Holiday Villa Hotel and Residence City Centre, Doha on 15 December 2010 and was attended by senior executives from the oil and gas, government, education, financial services and Banking sectors.

The CEO of BSEEN International Azita Nader opened the conference together with Mahdi Janabi, General Manager of BSEEN International Qatar highlighting the experiences and vision of the company and its expansion plans in the MENA region.

The opening session was presented by Alfie Taylor, Vice President of Sales and eServices MENA, highlighting the challenges and complexities companies are experiencing in today's changing business environment. Alfie explained that in particular we can expect to be subject to greater criminal exploitation associated with data theft, losses of data and security breaches.

Conservative studies, over the past years, have shown that cost of data loss in an organization can run into millions of dollars. The high cost of data loss and errors emphasize the need for governance policies and procedures, effective business processes, security associated with document rights management, effective single sign-on processes, more secure electronic exchange services for digital documents, security tracking of personnel, products or services for fusing together relevant data from multiple diverse sources and the monitoring and maintaining of business transaction applications at optimum performance levels to avoid bottlenecks and failures in transaction processing.

Key note speeches were delivered by Abdulgader Al-Harthi - IT Manager, National Industrialization Company (TASNEE) and Abdulrahim Ahmad Almudhareb, Director Of IT Department, Dubai Courts. In both cases they highlighted that working with BSEEN had proved to be of great value in meeting their business objectives, streamlining their business processes and contributing to productivity increases, enhanced information security and reducing operational costs.

Abdulgader Al-Harthi of TASNEE, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spoke of a clear vision and expanding horizons and in particular the business benefits of e-Billing for some 2,700 invoices per month by using Forms Lifecyle Manager (FLM) from BSEEN and Arch.

Abdulrahim Ahmad Almudhareb of Dubai Courts, United Arab Emirates (UAE), spoke of case applications by citizens and lawyers to the courts and the court's Notary services and how they streamlined these processes. This was achieved with the aid of BSEEN's solutions and services, including the Document Security Solution from MarkAny.
